IM in secondlife

This video shows that IM is being used in secondlife not only to communicate among each other but also to give out inventories to each other. It has inspired me on the IM usage for educational purposes, which is the feature of file sharing or file transferring. Students not only could share their ideas, train their language through IM, they could share files easily as a collaborative method to improve their school work.
