Personalised short-formed words on IM?
The video introduced a culture of the Instant Messaging (IM) users - self-personalised short-formed words! It demonstrated how it might cause laughters and misunderstanding, or even 'zero' understanding and misperception or misleading. The reality might not be the same as what is shown in the video, but somehow is on the same directions. Terms like BRB, LOL, LMAO, or even TTYL (talk to you later) have been created and commonly used. Through this trend, users may start to come out with their own short-formed words. What will be the consequences?
